Christmas is a magical time of the year, where wishes are made and dreams come true. This is a sweet romance where the doubt and hardships make the happy times even more perfect. With a complicated friendship and misunderstandings, the characters and emotions feel real. Reading this story, I found myself not wanting to put it down, excited to discover what would happen at the next Christmas. There were times when I wanted to smack either Katie or Alex - or both - but that just means that the author did a great job sharing their lives and struggles.
