Speaking of migraines...

Bookstooge mentioned suffering her first migraine... Horrible! I have sympathy for her especially because this had been a bad week for me. I had a two-day long migraine last Wednesday & Thursday, my back spasmed Friday night and I was completely out of commission on Saturday because moving hurt, Sunday I worked, Monday (yesterday) I was in the hospital all day... Luckily not for me, but I was keeping a close friend company while her husband (my chosen brother) was in surgery, and then last night my knees started killing me... And still ache. And today was another 12 hour workday.

 

I know that it's the neverending cold aggravating old injuries, but damn it I'm only 35 so I shouldn't be falling apart this quickly!

 

But this means that I haven't been reading much. I can't concentrate and start to zone out when the pain is bad... And I've been popping codeine like candy this week and I'm still in pain.

 

So forgive me for the lack of reviews right now... Sometimes you just have to give in to the inevitable and curl up with a heating pad and kitties.
