Review: The Vow
The Vow is a novella, the prequel to Jody Hedlund's book An Uncertain Choice. Set during the Plague, Rosemarie is a fourteen year old noble woman, the only child of the Earl and Countess of Montfort. When the town near their castle becomes infected, Rosemarie's world is turned upside-down and her future becomes uncertain.
This is a fun little book, true to the setting and with a romance that is clean and noble. It's a good introduction to the story, and manages to tell a complete tale while still leaving you curious about the future.
