Review: Zellwood : A Dog Story [Kindle Edition]
A sweet story about dealing with loss.

This is a very sweet short story about dealing with the loss of a loved one. It only takes a few minutes to read, and might be a good book for someone to read to a child who has lost a loved pet. After all, no matter how much we thinks of animals as being pets, they quickly become part of our family and need to be mourned as such. Even though this novel is only a few pages long and I read it quickly, it shows how everyone needs closure when a loved one passes away.
The author has a gift for description and I could easily see Zellwood - the towering oaks laden with silvery, spidery Spanish moss, the gently sloping hills, and walking through the wet green grass with the tears mingling with the rain.
