Two separate culture collide in this novel about a deaf woman and a half-breed Sasquatch.  Where you would normally expect the standard "Tarzan & Jane" scenario where Mel tries to teach Onio to be more human, she instead finds herself living in a Sasquatch compound after Onio saves her life.  Add in government conspiracy, a madman so bent on revenge that he can't see the truth in front of him, and the surprising fact of where the Sasqs actually come from, and you find yourself with this entertaining novel by Linell Jeppsen.

If you want to read into the mystery of a Sasq from an imaginative woman, this is a piece of fiction that I highly recommend!
